New Information
[edit]Some new information was released on May 27, 2021, where during the Sonic Central presentation, Joe Kelly stated the show's basic synopsis is "Sonic will be thrusted into a high-speed adventure, through the strange and mysterious Shatterverse. It's up to Sonic to save the universe and along the way experience moments of self-discovery and redemption". [1] - Shadowboxer2005 (talk) 05:57, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
- Concept art was accidentally leaked; the original portfolio is now deleted, although Sonic news site Tails' Channel has archived it here. Shadowboxer2005 (talk) 09:56, 27 June 2021 (UTC)
question
[edit]Does it see that some of the plot bears resemblance to Sonic Lost World? Or at least part of it? I'm only saying that this series isn't the first time that the whole world, or in this case universe, was in danger because Sonic did something stupid. Visokor (talk) 17:34, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
- That might be a question for the WP:Reference Desk, or a Sonic-focused forum. Unless a reliable source explicitly mentions a resemblance, we cannot draw such a comparison in this article. —151.132.206.250 (talk) 00:15, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
Thorough VA Credit
[edit]Do we need to credit the voice actors for every alternate-dimension version of the same character? I fear that train will only get longer and longer as the series progresses. Unfortunately, removing those redundant roles would raise the question of how to credit Knuckles' separate VAs (Adam Nurada as the main Knuckles and Vincent Tong as every other Knuckles.)96.245.202.49 (talk) 17:38, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
Series logo
[edit]Unless my eyes are screwy, The "Prime" part of the logo doesn't officially look like that at all. Visokor (talk) 14:55, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
Third and final season
[edit]For some reason, people keep changing that the third season aired to "The third and final season, [...], was released on January 11, 2024." However, as far as I see it, the third season is the final season. I see no evidence that there is a final season in addition to the third season (even the episode list here does not mention it) and have therefor removed it, but it keeps getting added back in. I do not want to start an edit war about it, so could someone please give info what that final season is and where to find it. Gial Ackbar (talk) 18:54, 13 January 2024 (UTC)
- As there had been no reply to this and I still see no evidane of another final season after the third one, I will now change "The third and final season" to "The third season, which is the final season". Gial Ackbar (talk) 12:58, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
- You want a reason behind the wording change? Simply put, it reduces wordiness. "The third and final season" literally means the same thing as "The third season, which is the final season," but sounds just a tad more professional. ---The Pastrami-Eating Bulldog 15:45, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- It does not seem to meen the same to me. The word "and" in "The third and final season" would indicate that there is a final season in addition to the third season, not that the third season is the final season. (Or am I interpreting that wrong, which might be entirly possible considering English is not my native language. In that case, please correct me what I missunderstand about that sentence.) Gial Ackbar (talk) 17:09, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- Indeed, you did interpret it wrong. As someone who does speak English natively, I can assure you that "third (fourth, fifth, etc.) and final" is very common phrasing whenever we list out sequential things that have a finite number. Several other TV series/season articles on this site (a few examples) use that phrasing somewhere. ---The Pastrami-Eating Bulldog 19:26, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- Okay, so the and just means that both adjectives refer to the noun. I now see why this could interpreted that way and will accept that English works that way. I have reverted my edit and restored your version. Tahnk you for the clearification. Gial Ackbar (talk) 20:21, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
