Merge proposal

All three articles (Songhor, Sonqor and Sonqor County) are stubs and are pretty short. Songhor and/or Sonqor articles by themselves have insufficient references, they should remain as redirects to Sonqor County (or whichever article with more suitable name) until there are enough info to expand into their individual articles. — Yurei-egg tart 13:10, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Songhor is the article about a city . Sonqor and Sonqor County are about a county . Insufficient references may not cause mixing a county with a city . Almost all counties in Iran are named after their county seat and if we merge their articles , then there will be no articles about the counties . In Persian Wikipedia , Songhor and Sonqor are linked to Persian سنقر (the city) but the Sonqor County is linked to the شهرستان سنقر (county of Sonqor).

Oh, pardon me for the misunderstanding. Seeing as Songhor is a separate item, I suppose it's now safe to remove the merge proposal from this article and proceed to merge Sonqor and Sonqor County? — Yurei-egg tart 19:14, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
