Somaliland slavery

Somalia existed as apart east african slave trade.Brought to somalia by arab slave traders in the begining of the 20th century .Then italian colonizers abolished slavery at the 20th century .Then british somaliland was boarded by italian somalia,french somalia and abysinina 1940 to 1941 it was occupied by italians was apart of italian east africa 197.231.201.229 (talk) 08:40, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Can you give me a source for this or perhaps quote what "Richard Pankhurst" wrote? The one attached to this phrase is not accessible and I would like to confirm it.
