New Equipment
[edit]This is a very impressive list of proposed naval assets, 51 hulls and 10 helicopters. I would be shocked if this equipment could be purchased for less than half a billion USD (which I doubt Somalia has) and even more surprised if it could all be delivered in less than a decade.
There are no sources for any of the information on this page and the page creator has made some recent edits that have been removed including Michael Jackson (see Michael Jackson converts to Islam and changes name to Mikaeel) and Somali Air Corp (see Aircraft Inventory).
I know I am pretty new at editing Wikipedia and am only an anonymous user but I am afraid that I do not believe even a third of the information on this page. For example the military of Somaliand page here [1] lists the same types of naval units with radically different numbers as the old strength of the Somali navy. And the CIA World Factbook describes the Somalia as having "no national-level armed forces (2008)".
If there is a more experienced editor who would try to improve this page, the entire community would be better off. Thanks. 75.69.0.58 (talk) 19:06, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
