Berberism
[edit]...he was approached by the SOA who encouraged him to "go to Algiers to help local opponents"... He must also "deliver leaflets calling on the people of Kabylia to rise up"... The commando leader is a certain Mohamed Medjeber... https://www.elwatan.com/edition/actualite/la-guerre-secrete-des-services-francais-31-03-2016
In 1975, the small group of Soldiers of the Algerian Opposition (SOA, anagram of OAS) tried to take control of the Berber Academy. Mouloud Kaouane (also called Noël Kaouane) who prides himself on being an opponent, created this organization where we find some sincere militants like Smail Medjber, Mohand Haroun, harkis, pieds-noirs, crooks... Before the SOA affair, according to Bessaoud, Kaouane convinced Hanouz and a few others to create a Berber Liberation Front. Mohand Arav distances himself and denounces the collusion between Kaouane, pieds-noirs and harkis... Berberist activists and the OAS: the amalgam is indeed explosive. https://www.lematindz.net/news/24773-bessaoud-mohand-arav-la-singularite-dun-berberiste-visionnaire.html Xophe84 (talk) 21:07, 2 September 2022 (UTC)
