I removed reverence to fatal toxicity as there was no reference, and I could find nothing anywhere to back this claim it up. Most berries of members of the Solanum nigrum complex are quite edible when ripe, and the foliage is eaten in many countries. S. furcatum hybridises with S. nigrum so is genetically close. The original poster made reference to them being "really really" toxic, so possibly it was vandalism or mistaken identity with Atropa belladonna Elioteliot (talk) 10:34, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
