Talk:Software design description

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello, just wanted to make the observation that the last sentence of this article reads very much as an advertisement for a book:

"IEEE Standards related to Software Engineering are well described in "Software Engineering An Object-Oriented Perspective" from Eric J. Braude (ISBN 0-471-32208-3)", and a not very well received book according to Amazon's rating.

I won't remove it because every time I make a modification to a Wikipedia page, it gets undone... --192.124.243.233 (talk) 11:54, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The last part of this article specifies "The Document should contain at least the following chapters", except nowhere in the IEE Standards does it reference this model as a template for the document. It has a very different template included in the appendix. I can't seem to find a reference for the template on this page anywhere. --Petershultz (talk) 06:06, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress

[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Template talk:IEEE software documents which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 22:02, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
