There is a field called "social medicine" which INCLUDES but IS NOT LIMITED TO "medical anthropology" (it also includes medical ethics, sociology of medical education, medical education, medicine and religion, etc. I work at the Harvard Medical School in the Department of Social Medicine (www.HMS.Harvard.edu/dsm/) and suggest that branching off into links with "social medicine" MAY be a way to expand this Wikipedia stub. www.SocialMedicine.org Maynard S.
