The text of "History" and "Present" appears to be a verbatim copy of text which appears in SBE materials, including the annual membership directory. It first appeared on 9 June 2006, http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Society_of_Broadcast_Engineers&oldid=57713415 and was contributed by IP 64.236.221.6.

I have written to the SBE for clarification and a request for permission to use the text. The annual membership directory where this text appears does not have an explicit statement of copyright. Alan (talk) 06:15, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
