Hello, my name is Michael Seibel and I am the former CEO of Socialcam. Much has happened to Socialcam since its creation (funding, lots of users, acquisition, etc). I wanted this content to appear on in the Socialcam article but I felt it was wrong to ask someone else to edit it. So, I edited the page myself with my wikipedia username (mwseibel). It is clear that this has the potential to introduce bias to the article. To combat bias, I added no options of my own, I heavily cited reputable news sources, and I was particularly careful to make sure that the criticism section remained intact. I welcome the community to make edits to my work, check my sources, and generally ensure that I accomplished my goal in the spirt of Wikipedia. Thanks! - PS: if you want to reach me I'm at michael@socialcam.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mwseibel (talkcontribs) 00:52, 15 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone ad a criticism section to this article that states that it is the opinion of many Facebook users that Socialcam is a "bully" application. It uses trickery to get Facebook users to ad the application to their pages in order to watch the advertised video then spreads itself in an almost virus-like fashion to all of their friends. Included is a link to one article that quotes and article from Forbes magazine that I am unable to link to directly.
