POV check

Some sentences of the article read like a sermon, for example, the sentence that says that “Social responsibility is a duty every individual or organization has to perform so as to maintain a balance between the economy and the ecosystem,” as well as about 75% of the section on “student social responsibility.” 68.55.112.31 (talk) 18:17, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

In addition, the same sentence refers to a balance between the economy and the ecosystem. The ecosystem in and of itself is not social, unless the word is used by extension. And when the word is used by extension then that ecosystem includes the economy. Hence, here we do not only have an issue of point of view but also of providing a good definition. On the other hand, the article currently avoids mentioning social responsibility in the context of power relations (in the wide, Foucaldian sence) in general - including business and science mentioned here, but also media, government, education, etc. Perhaps that could be a possible focal point for a better version for the introductory paragraphs. --85.253.175.72 (talk) 23:07, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
