Snip (Microsoft)

[edit]

Snip is now a Microsoft utility to cut out a section of the screen and save that to a .PNG file.

It replaced a more tedious method using the Print Screen command.

There is a small bug.

The file type has to be changed from upper case .PNG to lower case .png if it is to be used in a gallery.

This change has to be done by hand, at time of writing. ----MountVic127 (talk) 17:45, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
