This article looks like a freakin' advertisement. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.81.127.60 (talk) 05:29, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Very poor. There should be some information about manufacturing, distribution and who uses Smeg. For example, in Australia only Winning Appliances sell Smeg. Smeg on Winning Appliances 125.255.85.74 (talk) 23:09, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Really, spamming a talk page? KLP (talk) 03:05, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article oo much UK oriented. Fix desperately needed. (It would be ok if is was US oriented as per most pages????)

No. I don't think you understand. I nominated this article for speedy deletion. If you want it to stay, please explain why you think it qualifies as neither spam nor non-notability. Also, please sign your posts. KLP (talk) 02:06, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Information regarding the fact that Smeg is the largest italian appliance manufacturer is wrong. Indesit company is the largest italian appliance company while Electrolux (Swedish) has the largest italian manufacturing base. 203.15.64.15 06:59, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (legitimate information about company, should be extrapolated and not deleted) --58.169.137.234 (talk) 01:29, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This article is spam. It advertises a non-notable appliance manufacturer without any reliable sources. We should not extrapolate spam. We should delete it. KLP (talk) 12:45, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... you are removing wiki facts. Although the article is small, it is valid. --90.203.219.170 (talk) 19:44, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This page should not be deleted because the linked Italian equivalent appears to be well-referenced, including references independent of the subject. Ideally that content would be translated into English, but in the meantime, this is surely enough credible evidence of notability that speedy deletion would not be appropriate. – Smyth\talk 16:41, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Because requests for speedy deletion may themselves be spam supported by the commercial competitors of whoever. Let it stand as the record of a company's existence with information relevant to anyone researching Italian manufacturing and remove any inaccurate, misleading or otherwise commercial embellishments. --68.199.109.142 (talk) 15:21, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
