Is Slutsk still "predominantly Jewish" as the article said? Some possibly-not-reliable information I recieved from a resident of Slutsk would indicate that during the Nazi occupation during WW2 that became otherwise. Trying to find information I came across this bizzare article in the Russian newspaper eXile. It oddly mirrors the discussion I had with a classmate. Does anyone know if this is still the case? -- RevAaron

Someone I know from Minsk who has done research in Slutsk states that there are currently (as of 2008) fewer than 100 Jews in the town. Of course, one could need a citable source to include that in the article. -- kosboot (talk) 12:50, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I also believe that, as of the now-lost 1897 census, there were somewhat over 14,000 Jews and about 10,000 non-Jews in the town. I have to find where I saw that citation. -- kosboot (talk) 15:01, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
