[edit]"No new full-length album has since been released. Although Sloppy Seconds has had some local occult success, their albums are currently hard to find in many mainstream record stores."
I'm editing the above quote because this is an improper use of the word "occult". The word the author was looking for was "cult," but even then, I don't think that one can have "cult success", but must rather have "cult following".--Reverend Distopia 19:56, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
I just looked at the history section and apparently it originally had the word cult and was changed to occult. In fact, the word "occult" specifically refers to something that is hidden or to something "magical" whereas the word "cult" in reference to pop culture following is comparing the fans of the work to a cult, in other words, a die hard small loyal group. Please don't change this until you've at least given a good argument as to why I'm wrong.--Reverend Distopia 20:03, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
Ok, agreed. Anyway, the server for the Sloppy Seconds' official website is not working at the moment (as of 6-10-06). Someone wrote that they were "maned" after the band 7 Seconds, which is not accurate at all. The sentence was also grammaticaly incorrect, as the person meant "named," but spelled out "maned."
This is what comes from not logging into Wikipedia often enough. I can't even begin to mention the number of punk bands with less notability than Sloppy Seconds who have articles on Wikipedia whom no one has nominated for deletion. I'm glad it didn't happen. I'd bet someone was just offended by them and was looking for an excuse. I'm not saying they're the most influential or most noteworthy band around, but ask any skater in his (or her) late twenties here in California if they know who they are and I guarentee you they'll have heard of them. Seems like notability enough for Wikipedia to me.--Reverend Distopia 19:10, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
Hey guys. I just updated the "Endless Bummer" section of this page. Please make any adjustments if you notice any mistakes. Thanks -Kerrin. July 18, 2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kerrin1985 (talk • contribs) 22:37, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Hey guys. Me again. I'm trying to get album covers for each album page, but I forgot how to do it? Can anyone do it for me? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kerrin1985 (talk • contribs) 02:31, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
A point for the future, "Endless Bummer" is the name of a 2009 National Lampoon's movie, so eventually the redirect to this page, for the term 'endless bummer' will be in conflict. But there's no article on the movie so far. Cheers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.162.63.200 (talk) 18:09, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit]I added label names to all releases in this article's Discography section, which included adding Roadkill Records to the "Where Eagles Dare" 7" single. I was the owner of Roadkill, and the de facto "Executive Producer" of the project. -- Pete Best Beatles (talk) 00:38, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
