I have left this article as-is for now (as of 06 April 2009) but I would ask those contributors to the article, particularly the most recent editors, to supply some verifiable information that Slok Air, in whatever corporate form (Slok Air Gambia, Slok Air International, etc) is in fact operating or planning to resume operations. I can tell you that I am on the ground a lot in West Africa and that the airline is defunct, in the strict sense of not flying scheduled passenger flights, etc. Due to Wikipedia's guidelines I will not submit this original reporting to the article, but I would request that other contributors follow the same guidelines and insert the necessary original references and verifications to support the most recent edits that describe Slok as a currently-operating airline. As far as my research shows, no press release or media coverage supports this assertion, and this article is not a place for wishful thinking on the part of aviation enthusiasts. Please take this opportunity to bring this article up to the standards of Wikipedia with references to factual reporting, otherwise I think its best to revert the article to an earlier version which describes the airline's demise. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dfiner (talk • contribs) 19:08, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
