Year of death: 2007 or 2009

This ref, dated 17 March 2009, says he died "yesterday". How come we say he died 2 years earlier, on the same date in 2007? -- Jack of Oz ^{[pleasantries]} 04:17, 2 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
