Pushing Daisies, 2023 album
[edit]I've been a Skeleton Key fan since the Fantastic Spike Through Balloons, 1997. This "new album" called Pushing Daisies on Spotify does not sound at all like the Skeleton Key I know. The production is poor, the sound is low, and the vocal style is completely different. It really sounds like the wrong band.
Spotify is not great about treating bands with the same name differently. The Japanese band Boris also has this problem, as many artists use the name "Boris." I can't find any other references that link the 1997–2014 band "Skeleton Key" with at least one member of the original band associated with this new album "Pushing Daisies." Search right now ranks the soundtrack to the 2008 television show much higher than this album, making it harder to find information as well. UrbanDecayPVD (talk) 16:12, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
