Text and/or other creative content from Sjöwall and Wahlöö was copied or moved into Martin Beck with this edit. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. |
I removed the statement "however Wahlöö's death brought the series to an end", as it contradicts the statement that the pair planned to stop after 10 episodes anyway. Perhaps the author of that statement could qualify it by providing evidence that at least makes the claim probable.
An interview with Maj Sjöwall (Dutch) confirms the remaining claim. The interview is titled: "We wilden niet meer dan 10 boeken schrijven omdat we geen vermoeide schrijvers wilden worden", which translates to English as "we did not want to write more than 10 books, because we did not want to become tired writers".82.92.181.129 20:24, 27 November 2005 (UTC)
merge with Martin Beck?
[edit]Most of this article is not about Sjowall and Wahloo, but about the Martin Beck series, which has an article "Martin Beck" of its own.
It would seem most sensible to use the latter article for information about the series, and either restrict this article to information about the SW collaboration or delete it entirely (in favour of the individual biographies). -- Danny Yee (talk) 19:57, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

Pronunciation
[edit]Could someone who speaks Swedish post up the two names' IPA pronunciation in English? -The Gnome (talk) 01:32, 7 September 2014 (UTC)
