Date of birth - problem and inconsistency with other articles

I have raised this at Talk:Sir John Russell, 3rd Baronet and Talk:Frances Cromwell, but the date of birth for Sir William Russell given here a) conflicts with the articles of his parents Sir John Russell, 3rd Baronet and Frances Cromwell which go for c 1660 and b) Like the date there would seem impossible if his parents married in 1663 as stated in the Frances Cromwell article. If that date is correct, then he cannot have been born before it unless 1) he was illegitimate, but then he could not have succeeded to his father's title - also Frances Cromwell was only 15 in 1654 and married Robert Rich in 1657 or 2) Frances Cromwell was not his mother and he was born to a previous marriage of Sir John Russell which is not recorded here. The latter seems unlikely, so I suspect the date of birth should be c 1664, though the fact his sister Frances Elizabeth Russell was born in 1664, might suggest he was born in 1665 or later unless they were twins. If anyone has a source that would solve this problem can they amend this article and also amend the articles of his parents for consistency. Dunarc (talk) 21:40, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
