Date of Birth
[edit]Wikidata gives three different DoB, both with reasonable reliable references:
1/ 23 February 1766, Kindred Britain, that date is also given by the Royal Society (derived from Bulloch's Rolls which list details of fellows drawn from the original RS records)[1]
2/ 23 February 1776, The Peerage[2]
3/ 23 February 1764, The Peerage, Baronetage and Knightage.[3]
The information in a death notice in the Bath Chronicle for Sir Samuel Young, Bart. in his 61st year, at Formosa Place, Berks[4] indicates that 23 February 1766 is the only one of the 3 DoB which could possibly be correct. Babybrew6 (talk) 19:05, 27 November 2024 (UTC)
