Gabriël Van den Gheyn
[edit]This person is worthy of a separate Wikipedia entry. As Canon of St Bavo's Cathedral, he was instrumental in keeping the main panels of the Ghent Altarpiece hidden during the First World War and was responsible for informing the police in the subsequent theft of the panel of the Just Judges.
