Lance (the cat)
[edit]Are there any deleted scenes that indicate that something untoward happened to the cat? —Preceding unsigned comment added by M sher (talk • contribs) 14:56, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
Criticism
[edit]It is stated that Lampkin drew a weapon and threatened Lee Adama as he thought humanity was unworthy of saving. While this does reflect what Lampkin said, this is to oversimplify the subtleties of the interchange. Lampkin has shown extensively in prior episodes that he has a flair for manipulation of others, and it seems obvious to me that he never actually intended any harm to Adama - the purpose of his drawing the weapon was to put Adama in a state of peril so as to elicit from him his true feelings on the future of humanity, in order for Lampkin to test his viability as presidential candidate. This test passed, Lampkin gave Adama's candidacy tacit approval, as demonstrated by the cut from "is that your last word?"/"that's up to you"/"then swear it" to Adama's swearing in as president.
