Deletion of references
[edit]Stlippe, who heretofore has only edited this article (and one edit at Dov Hikind also in relation to this topic) has been systematically swapping references with no explanation [1], sometimes with imprecise ones [2]. One NY Daily News reference in particular has been removed multiple times with no replacement [3] [4] even though it backs up a statement in the article connecting the subject with Hikind. Since it is one of only a handful of mainstream sources confirming the existence of the poorly-sourced subject of this article, I believe it should be reinstated. - I added a same-newspaper/same-writer/same-year citation that should not attract the same level of dislike. For whatever it's worth, an attempt to find a followup (hearings, disposition, etc) to the focus of the story covered in the deleted citation re an article that doesn't
even have the man's first name, whereas other articles on the charge at least have Jakob (!) or Jacob. This is not to justify the above deletion(s), just to do a better job at refering to the previous and current office-holders in a mainstream newspaper. Pi314m (talk) 02:08, 23 April 2020 (UTC)
