It might be useful to note in the article (admittedly currently just a stub, and flagged as such) that the whole thing went up through the court system, from what I'm able to understand from just reading the opinion of the court linked to at the bottom of the article (http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/getcase.pl?court=US&vol=251&invol=385), due to appealing the contempt of court charge that came about as they used the copies of the illegally-obtained documents to then subpoena the originals to build a case against the two brothers owning the Silverthorne Lumber Company, and the brothers' refusal to turn over the documents. I don't think I can articulate it properly myself, mostly due to my lack of knowledge of law and not having the time for in-depth research of the case (and my poor writing skills <grin>). --EdJamul (talk) 17:33, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
