Requested move
[edit]Özi Province → Silistra Province, Ottoman Empire – Özi Province was only an occasional alternate name for the province even before 1812. The fortress of Özi (Ochakiv) was often not even part of the province. Also, need for standard Ottoman subdivsion title format. See WP:RM page for similar requests. Sample: Bosnia Province, Ottoman Empire. See Subdivisions of the Ottoman Empire for details of Ottoman subdivisions and Category:Provinces of the Ottoman Empire for list of pages.

- Oppose Pointless pursuit of an unnecessary uniformity. If this disambiguated, it might be worth doing; but there is no need for a long name, which will usually require piping or redirection. In addition, calling something that included Bessarabia "Silistra Province" is just wrong; separate stubs may be called for, or merging with Silistra. Septentrionalis 21:05, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

Map in the infobox
[edit]Underlying lk, please re-check the infobox map that you created. Seemingly you wrongly included present-day northern Bulgaria, that actually belonged to the Rumelia Eyalet. 77wonders (talk) 07:12, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
