According to Russian wiki, Sihirtia first arrived to island and then relocated to Yamal peninsula. There are no mentions in Russian wiki, that Shirtia were living there before Nenets people, but that they lived there from immemorial(by human memory standards that could be also few generations) times, which is not the same. Judging from findings of extinct 5th century culture in area, that could use metals and did not knew how to herd deers, there is nothing mythical about them, considering that Barmia that is from the same times, is more mythical, as there is not much known about them in modern times.195.147.206.144 (talk) 13:24, 22 February 2019 (UTC)
