This article states, quote, that "Ratner resigned in November 1992, and the group changed its name to Signet Group plc in September 1993," whilst the Gerald Ratner article states, quote, that "Ratner hired a chairman in an attempt to stabilise the situation, and was dismissed by the new company chairman in November 1992." I don't know much about this - which is why I'm here, reading these articles - and I am not British, so perhaps someone more knowledgeable can fix one of the articles, as appropriate, please? I'm no expert, so I'll not alter the article myself, but is this wording really true? "The company lost over 500 million pounds off its share price" 84.68.177.28 (talk) 21:38, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
