  • References go after all punctuation. Please ensure this is the case throughout the article.
  • References in " References" section must be in alphabetical order by last name.
  • Either use the style of "p. 10" or "p.10", but not both.

  • "Seated at an ornate wooden table, wearing a pearl tiara and flowing silk, is Sigismunda (known in the original tale as Ghismonda; it is probable that Hogarth modelled Sigismunda on his wife, Jane.),[4] the heroine of one of the novelle.[5] " – can certainly be rewritten so there isn't a convoluted parenthesis in there
  • ""The First Exhibition of the Royal Academy"" goes first in "References" if it doesn't have an author. Which it should, though.
  • "an 1708 play " – "a 1708 play "

I'm not too sure about the current section names. "Criticism" sections, while not forbidden, are discouraged; perhaps "Reception" is more appropriate? (It's up to you to decide what it should be named, these are just suggestions.) There are also a number of pretty short paragraphs in this article, like "Sigismunda mourning over the Heart of Guiscardo illustrates", "John Wilkes dismissed it as "not human"", and "After ten days of the exhibition". I'm sure these can be merged into some of the other paragraphs after reading through the article. Gary King (talk) 18:31, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The section has been renamed. As to the short paragraphs: I am not sure where to merge them. If you have any suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them. Cheers, -- Anonymous DissidentTalk 00:05, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
