Excessive detail

[edit]

I wanted to get the opinion of this project on the article Siem de Jong. Surely that level of detail is not appropriate, no? JACOPLANE • 2008-07-15 00:10

No it's definitely not appropriate. Can you imagine a player, like Tony Ford, with 1000+ appearances? Peanut4 (talk) 00:11, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It would break the article, although what about List of games played by Tony Ford 1-100, List of games played by Tony Ford 101-200 .....  :-p --Jameboy (talk) 01:00, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I actually suspect the article was written by his agent. Nothing we can do about that though, except for pointing out WP:COI, right? JACOPLANE • 2008-07-15 03:06
As well as being too detailed there are problems with POV, unsourced infomation, and poor English. I think I managed to fix these issues in this edit, but it's all been undone. Dancarney (talk) 08:45, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
