QPQ Review pendingCompleted.
Moved to mainspace by Al Ameer son (talk). Self-nominated at 17:11, 9 October 2022 (UTC).
- @Al Ameer son: another excellent article – thank you. The main missing piece for the nomination is the QPQ. The hook is within policy and well sourced, and the article meets all the criteria and more. Just three small points:
- Please disambiguate Ottoman in the lede
- Done.
- Please add a citation for the first paragraph under background
- Added a couple, but it will require multiple, different citations so I am working on finishing this.
- Could you consider deleting the words "Zahir al-Umar in" in the hook language, and replacing "the siege" with "his siege", to make it clearer? I had to read it a few times before I fully understood the hook.
- I had the same impression but decided to continue the shameless plug to Zahir al-Umar. Modified now as ALT1.
