A fact from Siege of Nöteborg (1702) appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 4 April 2011 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that after receiving a letter during the 1702 Siege of Nöteborg, Peter the Great offered the defending officers' wives safe passage, if they took their husbands with them?
We go with Swedish sources on Swedish strength, not Russian nore English which are based on Russian. If you look at this page 177. You can see what kind of numbers different Swedish forts had during the first year of the war. Nöteborg had 150, which means it's almost impossible for it to have been around 450 as Russian sources claim. Now the casualties, this source claim: 83 wealthy and 156 wounded Swedish soldier left the fort. Which means around 60 was killed inside. Imonoz (talk) 17:32, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
