[edit]

"and is often seen wearing a silver skull mask." "Sido is also famous for wearing a silver skull mask."

It is really great he is wearing that skull mask, but you don't have to mention it twice, imao. Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.64.125.128 (talk) 17:50, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Sido5.jpg

[edit]

Image:Sido5.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ya echt geil —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.99.89.99 (talk) 18:54, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

80.141.124.146 entry

The entry from 80.141.124.146, that was me, User Carschten. [2] —Preceding comment was added at 16:58, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Homophobic degenerate

[edit]

Sido is a dirty and disgusting homophobe. His lyrics include anti-gay slurs. This should be mentioned in the article. People should know what kind of a scumbag he is. Here is a source (in German)% [3] 66.65.129.159 (talk) 05:48, 5 September 2008 (UTC) He's not a politician, he's a rapper. That kind of press tends to actually be good for their careers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.250.153.161 (talk) 07:02, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just because he mentioned a few "bad" statements about gay people does not make him a scumbag. Many people do not like that sexual orientation for many reasons pertaining to religion and such. I believe that he has many wonderful and truthful statements represented by his musik. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.251.1.76 (talk) 20:15, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Label

His new Label is Universal Source -> http://entertainment.excite.de/nachrichten/3998/Rapper-Sido-kundigt-neues-Album-an —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.244.206.16 (talk) 17:30, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

controversy

[edit]

I deleted the first two paragraphs of the controversy section, because the claims in them were (1) undocumented AND (2) vague, vacuous and loaded with weasel words (unnecessary passive tense, attributions to "certain people"). To the author: say what you want to say. Don't beat around the bush, or don't bother. The writing in the rest of the controversy section is still weak, but at least the claims are attributed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.87.216.161 (talk) 03:31, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced and poorly written

[edit]

Perhaps 10% of this article is actually sourced. The vast majority of it remains unsourced. It's also poorly written. A lot of it looks like it may have been machine translated out of the German. I'll compare with the German Wikipedia entry to confirm. Given that this article falls under the purview of BLP, if its editors don't find a way to cite its assertions, I will start deleting them. --Nonstopdrivel (talk) 09:23, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Why can't i edit the mianspace of this article?

[edit]

I wanted to add that SIDO originally stood for Seiße In Deinem Ohr (shit in your ear) before he changed it to Super intelligentes Drogenopfer. I am not kidding you, or trolling, this is well-documented on the german wikipedia entry. --188.183.61.243 (talk) 17:24, 5 October 2011 (UTC) / the guy can't edit the encyclopedia that anyone can edit![reply]

Citations

[edit]

The article is lacking citations of key events. I've only marked one, as I haven't the time to mark all of the places where they are needed. As a BLP it should have citations of these points. I've marked a need for a citation in "Early Life" by the statement "Würdig stated in an interview with the radio station BigFM that he's one-eighth Iranian" as this statement mentions a radio station, I find it hard to believe there are no sources in the world that support the claim.

Comments

[edit]

On the English wiki, can German (or any other foreign language) not be used, unless in context of actual names. (ie. the song "Schlechtes Vorbild"). Several German comments have been made here, and not signed. As such, I would like to remind users:
