Party affiliation[edit]
Herbert could not have been a Liberal Unionist - he was a Conservative MP for Wilton before 1885, and is recorded as a Conservative in the Times of 2 July 1886 (this paper highlighted Liberal Unionists as distinct from Conservatives). 79.74.72.71 (talk) 20:31, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
