Coincidence?
[edit]Blackmer also appeared in television roles. He is perhaps best-remembered as Presidential candidate William Lyons Selby in the Outer Limits episode The Hundred Days of the Dragon. In a possibly intentional "coincidence", Selby is missing half the third finger of his left hand.
- What is this "coincidence" a reference to? There's nothing about Blackmer missing any body parts. -- ♬ Jack of Oz ♬ [your turn] 01:53, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
There is no reference cited for this statement, and no indication about what it might mean. Perhaps it's vandalism. Regardless, without a reference and an explanation, it does not belong. Delete. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.154.224.204 (talk) 03:41, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks. -- Jack of Oz [Talk] 04:06, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
I find it interesting that Mr. Blackmer (or rather a character he played) was "brought back from the dead" in two TV anthology series: Thriller, in The Premature Burial, and then in an episode of The Outer Limits One Hundred Days Of The Dragon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Telegonus (talk • contribs) 09:38, 13 August 2013 (UTC)
Split
[edit]Fulton-Mock-Blackmer House is probably notable enough for its own article. I went ahead and created it anyway, though I was reverted when I deleted content from this article because I hadn't discussed. The article is about the house, not the man.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 17:03, 7 September 2015 (UTC)
- And Blackmer is hardly mentioned in what I removed. It really is just about the house.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 17:46, 7 September 2015 (UTC)
