I'll review this one within the week. --Rosiestep (talk) 20:27, 1 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

OK, thanks Rosiestep. Best, Matty.007 20:32, 1 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Lead
Early life
  • "She was born..." - I assume this refers to Sibyl but, grammatically, it refers to Sophie.
  • Please sort out William Frederick Collings vs. William Frederick vs. Frederick vs. Collings.
    • Done. I used Collings, as that is given as her maiden name in a source. Matty.007
  • "the local Sercquiais dialect of Norman language" - the local Sercquiais dialect of the Norman language
First marriage
  • "When the Seigneur stormed aboard looking for her the captain hid her, she travelled to the house of a relative in London." clunky
Infobox
  • fine as is
Accession and remarriage
  • "Towards the end of his life, he stopped requesting the inhabitants to pay tithes..." - Towards the end of his life, he stopped requesting from the inhabitants the payment of tithes...
  • "She used the island's peculiarity" - can you clarify how it was peculiar?
  • "but the Chief Pleas refused to pass an ordinance that would forbid selling alcohol to anyone known to get too drunk." - drunk vs. too drunk?
Second World War
  • Fine as is, though I'm not convinced that the PROCLAMATION is necessary
Postwar years
  • "Once again widowed, Hathaway resumed complete authority over the island. In 1957, Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh returned to Sark in what was the first time a reigning monarch had ever come to the island" - clunky
  • "On the 400th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth I's grant of charter to Sark's first seigneur" - what year was this?
Death
  • fine
References
  • Ref4 - What does the "P." stand for in Guernsey P.?
    • I would have said Guernsey Press. Matty.007
  • Ref6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 - None of these have an online presence?
    • 6 and 12 done, 7 nothing but Amazon, 8 nothing but Amazon and GBooks, 9 nothing (from now onwards nothing excludes Amazon, GBooks and Goodreads), nothing for any others
EL
  • fine
Images
  • All are Commons
Category
  • Place of birth missing - Isn't Guernsey sufficient?

I'm done with the review. Please ping me when you think you've finished. --Rosiestep (talk) 04:56, 5 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am a bit ashamed to see that Matty had to address all the issues by himself. My editing pattern has been a little, well, erratic these days. Thank you both! Surtsicna (talk) 16:13, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the review Rosiestep; Surtsicna, you wrote the article in the first place, well done! Thanks, Matty.007 17:54, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
