No. Daily Mail is not an acceptable source. See WP:RSPSS. We already discuss the marriage below, and we would need a WP:RS that states that she has legally changed her name. In any event, it would not change the name of the article. -- Ssilvers (talk) 22:17, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I reverted changes made by a user to this article and to Sia's discography article concerning her album OnlySee. The same user is working on a draft article for the album at Draft:Onlysee. At first, I thought the edits were vandalism, because the changes were made inconsistently throughout the article to some of the places that the album was mentioned, but not all. Now I see that there is a question as to how the name should be styled. Clearly, there is no space between the two words. The question is, should it be capitalized as:
don't care about it much! because the text in album cover doesnt related with the real album style. for example, Colour the Small One is stylized as "COLOUR THE SMALL ONE", but you know, it's "Colour The Small One".
She has two adopted adult children. In addition, she recently had a baby with her new husband, but there is no official announcement of this, so our guideline WP:BLP says that we cannot mention it until there is an official announcement. See also WP:V. -- Ssilvers (talk) 22:11, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ssilvers appears to think that Colin Hay from Men at Work should not be mentioned. Do we really have to have a poll about that? Engage01 (talk) 13:53, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You failed to initiate any discussion until now, so I had nothing to respond to. I simply restored the status quo. There was a previous discussion (see archives at the Music article) where editors discussed and agreed not to add this info about removing the restraint scenes, including because, as I mentioned in my edit summary, it does not appear that Sia did actually remove those scenes, so your edit is highly misleading. In addition, the copy edits you are making are poor and should be reversed. As for Colin Hay, he is not part of her family, and you have not provided any reason why mentioning him would have encyclopedic importance to her WP entry. -- Ssilvers (talk) 03:03, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I don't care if you have been on this site for 30 years and it's not that old. You should be able to learn. On your own talk page you talk about making mistakes and listening. You aren't even batting .225 (if this was baseball (the MLB). I can find dozens of errors in your edits. Let's begin with if you could prove that the film prints were in fact not changed I would not object to you making a change. You are way off with Colin Hay. I am joking I could say you have a dislike or a general not positive perception of Men at Work. You're just plain wrong. It does need to be in the article. Engage01 (talk) 03:46, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
She calls him her uncle. People do NOT throw around family terms with people who aren't part of their family unless they are very important. Engage01 (talk) 03:50, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
See WP:BALASP. What is the encyclopedic importance of mentioning this person in this aritcle? Is there a WP:Reliable source that says that this person is so important *to the topic* that it is essential to mention him? For example, did he co-write or produce her most important songs or albums? Did she live with him at periods in her life? He appears merely to have been a family friend who she is fond of. No one has listed on this Talk page any sources that explain his importance to her life or work. -- Ssilvers (talk) 04:24, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
