I am Shubha's close relative and I would like to edit the reason of her death. Here is the information that I would like to add:
Reason of death
Shubha Phutela had health issues for over three months. She was diagnosed with kidney problems and was hospitalized. After signs of improvement, she was discharged and was recovering at home. One day, she suffered from a massive brain hemorrhage and slipped into coma. She was readmitted to a hospital in Ludhiana where she was in coma for around three weeks. She passed away on 22nd October 2012.

- Could you also provide the source? Torreslfchero (talk) 14:05, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) Not done for now: Sorry, but you need to cite a reliable source that directly backs up the change that you want to make. See the verifiability policy, the biography of living persons policy, and ask me below if you have any questions. Best regards — Mr. Stradivarius (have a chat) 14:06, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Source is her family. How to cite that? Newspapers know things from the family not the other way round. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gita1602 (talk • contribs) 14:16, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- Greetings,
- See also message in my talk page
- Welcome to Wikipedia. I condole the death of your (cousin) sister. As it has been told above in Wikipedia we mainly depend on sources. We can not use first hand sources. All the reliable newspaper articles are saying she died after prolonged kidney disease. So, that's why we wrote the information. But, don't get upset, you can do these things–
- Search any reliable source which mentions other reason of Phutela's death. This search tool might help you Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Since you claim to be a close relative of the subject, contact the news medias who you think have covered her death incorrectly! Let us know if you have any question!
- Regards!

- Sources I have found this page which mentions about "brain haemorrhage", there are some more web articles, but those are not WP:RS. In the One India article, which is a WP:RS they are using vague term "others say that"– others? Who? (BTW, this paragraph is completely same to what we had in Wikipedia, either they have copied from us or we copied from their article, anyway...). I am not sure how to add this information there without knowing actually which sources are saying so! --Tito Dutta (talk) 14:46, 24 October 2012 (UTC) typo correction signed Tito Dutta (talk) 14:57, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Shubha's love
[edit]Tareqnazim (talk) 20:08, 23 July 2013 (UTC)I am a very good friend of Shubha Phutela and she was in deeply love with Suhas Gopinath whom she met at an event in her college. There is no valid source, the only way I can support his to share a link from DNA Newspaper: [1] and video of the event [2]. This my sincere submission that Suhas Gopinath and Shubha Phutela both would want to have this on their biography about their love as they were never able to advance it due to Shubha'a demise. This is one of the saddest story I have experienced in my life and I would sincerely submit the contributors to consider this request to retain about Shubha's love with Suhas Gopinath.Tareqnazim (talk) 20:08, 23 July 2013 (UTC)
