NONSENSE
[edit]10,000.6 cm is not equivalent to 358.1 inches. I suspect the inches measurement is correct, as 10,000 cm is 100 meters, an unlikely value. However, I was unable to find the value in a credible reference source, so will not edit. Hooya27 (talk) 03:44, 15 November 2020 (UTC) "6.15 meters (20 feet 2.25 inches). Chillal's longest nail is 4.25 feet."
4.25 feet IS less tham 20 FEET, if it was meant to be 4.25 meters. it still holds true that 4.25 meters is LESS than 6.25 meters so this information is contradictorious.
- I think the first figure is the length of all the nails on one hand laid end to end, while the second is the longest individual nail. I may be wrong, however. GeeJo (t)⁄(c) • 05:27, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

Nail Nerve Damage
[edit]While it is a referenced thing in the TV.com article...Can someone explain how heavy nails cause nerve damage which causes deafness? Pretty sketchy, sounds like a folk diagnosis to me...I'm going to remove that part if there isn't something more concrete explaining it Reboot (talk) 02:48, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
This is a better reference: http://archives.cnn.com/2000/ASIANOW/southeast/12/12/hongkong.india.fingernails.reut/ and it makes it obvious that the cause of deafness is his claim (not one that has been obviously verified). I'm very incredulous overall and he's not a very credible source for this claim (since he freely admits he's seeking fame and motivated by such). Reboot (talk) 03:05, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
