[edit]On satuday August 30, 2009 I spoted one swimming apox. 3-4 feet in length. At Leo Carillo St beach. It was around 4:30pm 1-2ft surf. The shovelnose guitarfish was swimming in the water colum 10ft south east of the main rock where the surf breaks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.172.213.146 (talk) 07:46, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
disambiguation
[edit]Should note that shovelnose guitarfish does not unambiguously refer to one north-american species, not globally. The entire family is called (and redirects to) guitarfish, and other individual species are also called shovelnose (e.g., Aptychotrema rostrata in australia).
