New instance of the Sherkin Island Marine Station page

I have started a new version of this page as the previous was removed because of copyright concerns. I have found at least one citation to back up the text which I have written in my own words. BTW, I have subscribed to the Sherkin Comment publication in the past so would be familiar with it and what it does as per the text. I may expand on the page later to fill it out a bit more. Respectfully I don't think this org meets WP:NORG for notability of an organisation/company. And, given the limited coverage available is unlikely to be expanded beyond more than a few lines - not without overlapping with (or needing significant context from) the Sherkin Island article at any rate. Following WP:MERGEREASON (overlap/context in particular), and short of full AfD, I would advocate merging the few lines we have here into the Sherkin article. And making this title an anchored redirect. Other thoughts (of course) are welcome. Guliolopez (talk) 21:38, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Bump. Unless there are other thoughts, I am going to go ahead and add/merge the following content to the "main" Sherkin article. Likely under the "infrastructure/industry" section:

Sherkin Island Marine Station, is a privately run operation located on the north-west of the island.[1][2] Founded by Matt Murphy in 1975, it is mainly involved in gathering baseline marine data,[3][1] and also produces a number of reports, books and the quarterly 'Sherkin Comment' journal.[4][5]

 Resolved OK. It's been a couple of weeks since the proposal above (and hatnotes were added to the relevant articles to draw attention to the proposal). Haven't heard any other thoughts, so have gone ahead with the merge/redirect. Guliolopez (talk) 08:44, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
