@SheriffIsInTown: Typically, we refrain from using election box templates on Pakistani BLPs. What's the rationale behind using them here when the subject of this BLP wasn't even in the top 3 positions in the election results. It seems unnecessary, given the election results. Also, I would expect experienced editors like yourself to steer clear of using questionable sources like GVS for citing controversial material. —Saqib (talk | contribs) 08:34, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You have learned several times at WP:RSN that a source is reliable unless someone objects and gets a consensus at that forum to the contrary. As for your typicality argument, it does not matter if you have been refraining out of time constraints or I have been refraining for same reason to not include election boxes in BLPs, as long as election results are supported by reliable sources, they can be included, it is completely another matter if someone does not want to do that. I have seen election boxes in BLPs other than Pakistanis and I think it is useful to include them. Excluding the information because it negatively highlights the performance of a politician in a specific election do not fit with standards of WP:NPOV. Quite awkward that you removed the inline tags. Was it really bothering too much? I never expected you to cite questionable sources like GVS, electionpakistani.com and links to Google Drive. Your argument, as an experienced editor, that every source is reliable unless contested is truly shocking too. If this is a policy-based argument, could you please provide a link? Anyways, the article seems more like an attack page with controversies all over it. --—Saqib (talk | contribs) 16:31, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Google Drive belongs to ECP and ECP is a reliable source, drive is just a storing medium. As for other sources, I stand by my comment. It is your word against me, you can consider them unreliable and I consider them reliable for the content which they support. It is quite awkward that you call this an attack page while you were creating attack pages here, here, and here for last couple of months. What can we do if the subject indulges in conflicts then we have to report them as such. It was quite shocking that you considered TPMM reliable. BTW, were you sent to this page as an IP was committing vandalism which I believe belonged to the blocked user HistoriesUnveiler then you showed up all of a sudden, you have been on their heels before as well? What a absurd argument. It's as if I've never edited Pakistani MP BLPs before and just randomly showed up here. And now you're suggesting that User:HistoriesUnveiler had suggested me to look into this BLP. Do you have any evidence or are you simply making this up? Fyi, I don't act on behalf of others. If I had, I would have definitely responded to your email(s). You should be careful when accusing someone of WP:CANVASS without any evidence. And once again, if you think I'm doing something wrong here, then you should point it out, not repeat the same mistake. Remember this and this? I've been seeking input on what to remove from this BLP, but it seems no one, including you, is interested. And unlike you, I'm not using any source on this BLP that could be deemed questionable by anyone. Anyway, getting back to the topic, I will certainly take this matter to WP:RSN or maybe WP:BLP because while it's fine to expand the page with controversies, we must be careful with the sources. We cannot use sources that are questionable or unreliable. --—Saqib (talk | contribs) 17:27, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@SheriffIsInTown; do you genuinely believe this passage merits inclusion? I mean, seriously? How does this contribute to encyclopedic value? I recall you removing similar content in the past when I added it, citing it didn't meet WP:NOTNEWS, and I respected your judgment by not restoring it. However, it's quite amusing to see you now adding such things yourself. Above, you've accused me of adding trivial content to Maryam Nawaz's BLP, but I've refrained from including such material, despite ample coverage in reliable sources. --—Saqib (talk | contribs) 17:51, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In April 2024, Marwat became entangled in another controversy following the emergence of a video showing him striking an individual during a party rally in Peshawar. The footage depicts the Marwat delivering a slap to the man amidst a crowd of party supporters. He tried to justify his action by stating that the person he slapped was his "personal guard.
I think it merits inclusion as it tells about the character of the public official. We cannot compare apples with oranges. I do not remember what you are referring to and the circumstances about the content I objected in the past. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 18:03, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Have you heard about the news circulating regarding his appointment as chairman of PAC? There are various reports out there and they seem to be saying different things. Are you keeping up with this? Here's the latest one. —Saqib (talk | contribs) 10:27, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
