Budget

[edit]

Whoever edited the budget in must be wrong? It says: $501,000,986, I doubt the film costed that much to make, especially back then.-24.92.43.153 (talk) 07:14, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

.. or else it should appear in Most expensive movies. But most probably it's simply wrong. --80.218.66.44 (talk) 15:54, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Which is why I removed the figure. $501M is blatantly inaccurate for a 1935 film; the only way it could even possibly be correct is as an inflation-adjusted figure, and even that is highly questionable. Per the list linked above, the only film that ever cost $300M before inflation was Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End ($300M in 2007); adding inflation adjustments only brings in War and Peace ($100M in 1968, $700M adjusted to around 2007) and Cleopatra ($44M in 1963, $290M adjusted to 2006). --RBBrittain (talk) 00:01, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Remake

[edit]

Hi!

Some years ago I watched a remake of this film (dating from the sixties) playing in Africa.

I just watched an episode from the "Sinbad"-series with Zen Gesner which is another remake.

Best regards

Trivia?

[edit]

Is the fact that the trailer for the colorization premiered at ComiCon anything other than very trivial? —12.72.69.238 (talk) 18:48, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Harryhausen

[edit]

Harryhausen didn't colorize this film, he supervised the colorization. —12.72.69.238 (talk) 18:52, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Plot Summary Needed

[edit]

What's this movie about? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.66.18.25 (talk) 20:24, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah! Like, where is the plot summary? --67.86.101.6 (talk) 17:33, 23 October 2011 (UTC)Veryverser[reply]

Chronologies

[edit]

The books were written and published in the order: She, Ayesha, She and Allan, and Wisdom's Daughter. Their internal chronology is: Wisdom's Daughter, She and Allan, She, and Ayesha. The article's order is actively stupid. —66.87.131.97 (talk) 11:03, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

images from Photoplay - for use in 2030?

[edit]

I found some images of Gahagan in the role of She from Photoplay over on the media history database page. They are from 1935 and won't enter the public domain until... 2030 (unless their copyright wasn't renewed and they are already there)? putting the links here for now:
