Have to congratulate Wikipedia on their uptodateness. Just switched off the TV after watching the Thurman Porter fight which took place a few hours ago and had the fans on their feet for most of the 12 rounds. A slug fest by Shawn Porter who attacked unmercifully for most of the fight. The decision seems to be fair though I'm not sure the judges took into account the hundreds of punches thrown and landed on Thurman by Shayn Porter. His snaking left lead was effective and if he landed any of swinging right hands as crisp as Thurman delivered on Porter, Shawn would now be the Welter weight world champion. There's no mistaking Porter can bring exhuberance to the fight game and with some more scientific strategy he can regain the world title.
