Cambridge–Dorchester Line
[edit]Did this line have a "formal" or "proper" name, or is this a description? Sources seem to indicate the latter (Cudahy being the rare exception, in 2009), so why do you guys keep capping "Line" here (and at Alewife station and other places)? Dicklyon (talk) 20:02, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
Sentences or not
[edit]I'm gonna ask you a quick question, what do you mean "Not an improvement"? It's considered an improvement because the term also is when there's extra info. That's what I was doing. And besides, there's no rule saying that you cannot use "also". It never said that. So don't come up with that excuse again. Mr.Shadow514 (talk) 15:26, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Mr.Shadow514: Your edit did not improve the article. Using "also" was not grammatically correct in either sentence that you added it to. "Also" should only be used when the clause or sentence refers to the previous sentences – see usage notes for examples. That's not the case with either of those sentences. Your second edit also omitted the verb entirely. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 00:54, 15 September 2024 (UTC)
