Recently I heard that they can form under Nuclear Explosions. Can anyone confirm this?

Should be possible, particularly in underground nuclear tests where other forms of shock metamorphism have been reported in the surrounding rock, but I don't know of any references. --Zamphuor 04:56, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
