Broken link
[edit]The second link here seems to be broken. Mind replacing it with new ones? —Preceding unsigned comment added by AmcA (talk • contribs) Can anyone find a replacement for the broken link or maybe from archive org:

Periosteum and cementum.
[edit]My understanding is that Sharpey's fibers insert into BOTH the periosteum of the alveolar socket and the cementum, essentially connecting the PDL with these surfaces. They are the "insertion fibers". I believe the article as it currently reads is unclear. If you or anyone is an expert on tooth histology... I welcome your comments. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Erikke (talk • contribs) 21:10, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
