This is real good, link to his fight, i wonder where to buy? The fight can be viewed online at the link below. http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZxrjqNMYfQ0 May 13, 2011: I up-dated general information regarding the Lineal Championship Briggs won against George Foreman. I felt the notation was warranted and needed to be clarified. Edited by Trueresearch. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Trueresearch (talkcontribs) 05:59, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Did he really ever fight Wladimir Klitschko?

[edit]

On youtube I just can find videos of a fight Shannon Briggs vs Vitali Klitschko. A fight which isn't listed here. Should I change it? I do it in the next days if no one says no. --JakobvS (talk) 16:24, 2 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

First Round Knockouts

[edit]

I'm removing the information on first-round knockouts, since another boxer, Young Otto Arthur Susskind, appears to hold that record: http://boxrec.com/media/index.php?title=Human:17267. --MKil

@MKil: Susskind held the record for the most consecutive first round knockouts not the most Peter Maher has more. 80.235.147.186 (talk) 00:07, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps. The latest edition of the Ring Record book lists Young Otto as having the most one-round knockouts at 42. One-Round Hogan is listed as having the most consecutive one-round knockouts (18), two more than Otto. However, whether it is Maher or Otto who holds this record, it surely isn't Briggs. --MKil
