Novel
[edit]- He began writing in 1945 with his first novel, Dinguli Mor which revolved around the sensitive topic of the plight of Partition refugees in post-Independence India.
I'm confused, how can a 1945 novel deal with 1947 issues? Or is the year a typo? --Ragib 03:48, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- That's an excellent comment. The blurb I was reading in Bangla made it sound like Partition, but you are 100% correct and this is a major lapse. I've checked again; the year is correct. The focus is on refugees not with Partition refugees in post-Independence India. I've edited that erroneous line out. Thanks again. --Antorjal 13:45, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
