Fair use rationale for Image:ASC Logo.jpg

[edit]

Image:ASC Logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Content of a WP-article

[edit]

Cjcarmo, a WP-article such as this should be based almost entirely on WP:RS independent of the topic. If those sources didn't notice something, WP shouldn't either. Now, some info from their website can be ok per WP:ABOUTSELF, but this[1] is too much and looks like WP:PROMOTION, much of this belongs at their webpage and we link to that under External links. If you are connected to and/or paid by this organisation, please follow the directions at WP:COI and WP:PAID. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 13:02, 17 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Also, you have copypasted for example "Campers engage in mask and costume creation, and other art projects based on characters and poetry from Shakespeare’s plays." from their webpage to this article. That is an absolute no-no, see WP:COPYVIO. Remove any such you have included. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 13:30, 17 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Atlanta Shakespear Company day

[edit]

I removed the part of the text that stated “The Fulton Board of Commissioners declared December 16, 1988 Atlanta Shakespear Company Day” because I could not find any evidence that this was true. Kolorblind2010 (talk) 11:40, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
